Best Paper Award to Anette Johansson

JIBS researcher Anette Johansson has, together with Alexander McKelvie at Whitman School of Management, been awarded the Best Paper Award on the topic of Corporate Entrepreneurship at the annual Babson College Entrepreneurship Research Conference (BCERC).

Their paper is entitled “Unpacking the Antecedents of Effectuation and Causation in a Corporate Context” and examines how individual and organizational factors influence the way key decision makers in the Swedish magazine industry approach innovation.

The BCERC conference is considered to be most prestigious conference in the field of entrepreneurship research. The award is sponsored by Stevens Institute of Technology Wesley J. Howe in US.

Anette Johansson is a Ph.D student in Business Administration at MMT centre. She has a master's degree from JIBS and international working experience within brand management and marketing in both the BTC and BTB market. Her research interests include marketing and leadership in media companies. M cKelive received his doctoral degree from JIBS in 2007.
