Studies on Integrated Health and Welfare (SIHW)

Studies on Integrated Health and Welfare (SIHW) is the School of Health and Welfare’s research environment with a focus on integrated health and welfare. The research is interdisciplinary and addresses complex societal challenges related to health, care, and social sustainability. The aim of SIHW's research is to contribute to knowledge development that strengthens quality, equity, and efficiency in both today’s and tomorrow’s welfare systems.

Themes

To enable interdisciplinary and cross-disciplinary collaborations, establish a solid foundation for new research projects, and further develop and deepen knowledge and competence among our researchers and teachers, a large part of the research within SIHW is organized into themes. Below, the ongoing themes are briefly presented, and the responsible person can be contacted for further information.

Each theme has its own mailing list for those who wish to receive updates and calendar invitations related to that specific theme. If you would like to be added to a mailing list, please contact amanda.hiort.af.ornas@ju.se.

Our theme meetings are continuously published in the calendar on the Intranet as well on SIHW's page Ongoing activities.
